On Tuesday, Health Alliance announced a major shift that will impact many individuals, families, and businesses relying on its coverage. Effective January 1, 2026, Health Alliance will discontinue all individual, family, and employer group plans, focusing exclusively on Medicare Advantage.

About Health Alliance

Health Alliance, an Illinois-based insurer, has long provided a variety of health plans known for their strong provider network and customer service. However, in response to evolving market trends, the company has decided to streamline its offerings and concentrate solely on Medicare Advantage products, which serves the senior population.

As a result, all individual, family, and employer-sponsored plans will no longer be available after 2025.

What This Means for Compass Insurance Customers

If you currently have a Health Alliance individual, family, or employer group plan, your coverage will end on 12/31/2025. If you are enrolled in a Health Alliance Medicare Advantage plan, your coverage will continue as usual with no changes required.
