Hey, there! I’m Todd and I have been an Agent with Compass Insurance Partners since 2013. Here at Compass, I focus on farmers and business owners as well as assist my clients with their personal insurance. I also enjoy helping my customers with their life and health insurance needs. What I love most about my job is building relationships with my client base. I am passionate about making sure they are covered correctly from an unforeseen event and providing them with watchful service. Today the insurance world is ever-changing and I am committed to expanding my knowledge and expertise within the industry. I hold my Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation and my Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
I was born in Kankakee to wonderful parents, Ron and Sharon Hoffman. They raised my sister Erin and I on a farm in southwestern Kankakee County. I went to Herscher High School and, believe it or not, was quite the competitive athlete back in the day helping win a state baseball championship along the way. I then went onto Illinois State University where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Organizational Leadership. Prior to joining Compass, I brought nearly a decade of sales experience with me most recently as Vice President of Sales for a nationwide flatbed transportation company.
At home, my beautiful wife Amy does it ALL for our family. She is from rural Cullom and grew up on a farm raising Milking Shorthorn dairy cattle with her family. She is a Pharmacist with OSF Healthcare. Together we reside on a farmstead outside Herscher with two incredible blessings, our sons Bode and Holden. They fill our hearts with joy and are our greatest accomplishments in life.
In our spare time we love to travel, do projects at home, help our families farm, watch our boys work with the cattle, take country cruises, go out for nice dinners, watch sunsets on our front porch, and most importantly hang out with family and friends.
Contact me any time. I would love the opportunity to sit down with you and take a look at your insurance. Thanks, and take care!
