Hello Everyone! My name is Scott and I’ve been an agent with Compass since 2008. As an agent I focus on insuring local Businesses, Farms and helping people with their personal insurance (home, auto, life, etc…).

I enjoy my job for many reasons.  Some of these include:

No two clients are the same. 

No cookie cutter policies.  Our agency philosophy is not “here’s the box, you need to fit inside.”  We have multiple companies that have different offerings.  I get to learn more about people and find the best program for their current situation.

Education

A lot of people don’t understand their insurance.  It’s your coverage, you need to know what it will do in the event that something terrible happens.  I enjoy explaining what the numbers on the page mean.  You need to know what coverages you have, so you can make an educated decision on if it’s correct.

Protecting our community

Staci and I grew up in LeRoy.  We chose to raise our children here.  Central Illinois is a great corner of the world.  I want to do all I can to protect people in our area from the financial risk of something devastating happening.

Staci and I have 3 daughters, Jordan, Madison and Peyton.  Soon to be adding daughter in-law Laurel.

Away from work, my activities include: LeRoy First United Methodist Church, Bloomington-Normal Great Banquet Community, Millikin University Football Alumni Board, volunteer football coach LeRoy High School.
