Sara Tredennick

Hi!  I’m Sara and I’m new here.  I joined the Compass Insurance team in April of 2022.  After a major house fire in 2018, where our family lost everything except what was on our backs and in our vehicles, our local and surrounding communities gave unselfishly to our family without hesitation.  It was very humbling, but I also learned through this experience how important insurance and the people who provide the service are.  Over time and with experience, I have learned a lot about myself.  I realized my passion for serving and helping others along with building lasting relationships.

I’m a farm girl born and raised right here in Fairbury, Illinois.  I didn’t stray too far from my roots after attending and graduating from Illinois State University.  As a matter of fact, we now live less than a mile from our Bittner centennial homestead where my dad, Bob Bittner, still lives and farms.  By we, I mean my husband, Kerry, and our three boys.  My husband and I have been married over 15 years.  Besides just normal farm life and raising a teeny tiny herd of cattle for beef, our boys keep us very busy with their sports.  You can find us at football games, running events, baseball games, and basketball games.  Between watching and volunteering my time at school, church, and sporting events, my life is rarely dull.

When I’m not chasing our boys or our cows, you can find me either outside working around the farm, reading a book, or better yet hanging out with family and friends.  My favorite spot is our front porch.  Whether it is on my front porch, out in the community that I love, on the farm, or in the office, I look forward and am excited to serve and help you any way I can in my new role here at Compass Insurance.  Come meet me!!
