My name is Rod Siders, and I work with all of our agencies and agents on commercial rating.  I became part of the team at Compass Insurance Partners in 2016 after a winding professional career that started in group benefits insurance but included stops running multiple Central IL health clubs and working in the University of Illinois Department of Nuclear, Plasma and Radiological Engineering.  I was decidedly not a nuclear engineer.

When I’m not in the office, my wife, Shannon, and I enjoy traveling, gardening and pulling our hair out chasing around the cutest puppy in the whole wide world, Leo.  Shannon, owing to her career as a probation officer, keeps Leo and I on our best behavior.  Most of the time.

Currently living in Savoy, IL, we’ve never ventured very far from my farm upbringing in Melvin, IL, and we still enjoy visiting my parents out on the farm to get back to our country roots.
