Thank you for the opportunity to share what I do at Compass Insurance Partners! My title is Customer Service Representative (CSR) for Property & Casualty at the Cissna Park location. I am able to sell Personal auto, home, and umbrella policies as well as Commercial property, liability, auto, workers compensation, and umbrella policies. However, my primary focus is managing established accounts by making any necessary changes, problem solving, reviewing coverages and premium annually.

Prior to this, my family owned and operated a small restaurant, Lober’s Café, for 24 years until we sold it in 2000. January 2001, I joined Compass Insurance Partners, the former Steffen Agency, as their receptionist. The following year I obtained my Illinois Property & Casualty license. My experience in serving others added value to my current position by having a better understanding of client needs.

Education is important in our organization so I attained the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation through The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Annual continuing education is required to hold this designation which helps to grow my knowledge and keeps me current in this ever changing and complex industry.

My free time is spent gardening, going to Farmer’s Markets, finding new Farm to Table restaurants, and trying new foods. Going back to my roots, I am a “foodie” at heart. If I’m not standing at my desk, or you can’t find me in Illinois, I most likely will be in Southern California enjoying time with my 2 daughters, granddaughter, and grandson. (Yes, my only children and both moved out there!)
