Hello, my name is Myron Munyon, I am an agent at Compass Insurance in Watseka.

I was born and raised on a family farm, Munyon Farms in Momence IL.  My farm upbringing gives me great insight in the needs of my customers and their farm insurance needs. I continue to be amazed by the technological advances in the farming industry and I am fascinated by precision farming.

I currently live in Papineau with my Wife Kimberly and our two Pet friends Rex and Miles.

I serve our community as Village Board President and have been involved in the Fire department for over thirty years. My passion still runs high for the fire service; I served for many years as the Fire Chief and currently, I am the President of the Board of Trustees for the fire District.

I am excited to be with Compass Insurance Partners and it’s an honor to help Fire Districts with their insurance needs. I am still excited to go to fire stations across the country, climb on the rigs, listen to the stories at each location, and marvel at the new equipment.

My wife and I are proud grandparents of Graham Christopher Scott, 6 years old Son of my daughter Julianna and her husband Chris in Tomah Wi; Owen Myron Thomas Munyon 4, Olliver Jake Lee Munyon 2 years old sons of my son Trent and his wife Ronni Munyon in Momence.

When time permits, I enjoy fishing, snowmobiling, and golfing with friends and family.

I feel blessed to be a part of the Compass Insurance team and look forward to building relationships and growing the business while helping farms, fire districts, and commercial and personal lines of business.
