Hello My name is Lezli Merritt. I grew up in Colfax Illinois. My Dad started in the insurance industry in the early 70’s and started Fincham Insurance Agency in Colfax. My brother Mike bought the insurance agency from my father in the mid 80’s. I had moved away after high school and then moved back into the area in 1992.

I obtained my insurance license and began as an agent for Fincham Insurance. I have worked there ever since and still working there after being purchased by Compass Insurance Partners in April of 2018.

I am now the CSR at the Colfax office. I love the close bond I have formed with all of our customers over the years. I take pride in servicing all of our customers and helping them with their insurance needs. I have been working for over 20 years with property & Casualty, Life & Health and Multi-peril Crop and Crop hail insurance.

I am married to Dave Merritt who works at the City of Gibson and reside in Gibson city. Together we have 7 children and many Grandchildren and our Jack Russell dog Petey. We enjoy spending time with family, going on golf cart rides around town and taking vacations anywhere that has a beach.
