My Family

I was fortunate enough to grow up on the family farm in Rankin, IL, where I developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for agriculture.  My life has always been filled with the joys and challenges of farm life, working alongside my father and brother.

I attended Parkland College and Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where I studied production agriculture. My education has provided me with a solid foundation in agricultural practices and principles.

Since January 2025, I have been an agent with Compass Insurance, committed to providing exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions to my clients. I began my insurance career in 2017 as a Crop Insurance DSM with Farmers Mutual Hail, gaining valuable experience in risk management. I am continually amazed at the knowledge, expertise, and resources available at Compass Insurance.

My wife Emily and I live in rural Loda.  We started dating in high school and got married several years later in 2012.  Now we have 2 daughters, Evynn and Remi, who never turn down a chance to be involved in a sport or activity.  Time flies and they keep us so busy!

To serve my community, I have been a volunteer firefighter with the Loda Fire Protection District since 2015. I have also served on the the Ludlow Coop Board of Directors since 2022 proudly supporting our local patrons.
